Day 1: |
ARRIVE AMMAN
AIRPORT |
|
|
Arrive Queen Alia
Airport. Meet & assist through customs and immigration. Transfer to
hotel. Welcome drinks will be served upon arrival at hotel. Ladies will
be presented with flower necklaces. Buffet dinner will be served in a
typical Arabian Nights settings and music. Each member of the group will
find a gift: ladies will find Bedouin silver earrings; gentlemen will
find silver worry beads. |

Day 2: |
Jerash – Ajlun – Dead
Sea |
|
|

After breakfast, drive
north to the Greco-Roman city of Jerash, then continue to Al Rabadh
Castle in Ajlun, where authentic Jordanian food and strong local alcohol
"Araq" will be served followed by strong Arabic coffee. Continue to the
Dead Sea for swimming. Beach party and barbecue with live music. Return
to hotel for overnight. Ladies and Gentlemen will find sets of Dead Sea
products in their rooms. |

Day 3: |
S U R P R I S E! |
|
|
After breakfast, Amman
City tours including museums and fine art galleries. Lunch at a local
restaurant serving Arabic food. Afternoon, drive to Al Mahata train
station where the group will board the original Lawrence of Arabia steam
train for a ride through the old outskirts of Amman ending at al Jiza
station.
The
train will be forced to stop by Bedouins riding Arabian horses; they
will kidnap a few passengers. The rest of the group will be taken to a
Bedouin tent for some cardamom coffee, mint tea and Arabic sweets. Of
course, the kidnapped passengers will join the group without paying
ransom! The group will be served dinner on the platform of the Jiza
station. Return to hotel for overnight. Ladies: Bedouin dresses (dishdash)
Gentlemen: Bedouin Dishdash.

Day 4: |
Madaba, MT. Nebo,
Petra |
|
|

After breakfast, drive
through the King's Hwy to visit Madaba and Mt. Nebo. Continue driving
through Wadi El Mujeb, a spectacular canyon. The group will stop for a
beautiful view of the Wadi. Coffee and sweets will be served. Continue
to Petra. Check-in, rest and prepare for 1001 Nights theme party. The
group will be taken to Al Beidah where candle lit entrance and flute
sounds will lead the group to the cave. The Arabian dressed waiters will
greet them. The cave walls and ceiling will be decorated with satin
fabrics. Arabic dancing, food and setup will be the highlight of the
night. Return to hotel for overnight. Ladies: will find Bedouin
headdress. Gentlemen: Headdress (Hatta) |

Day 5: |
Wadi Rum – Aqaba |
|
|

A horseback tour of
Petra through the gorge. Continue the tour walking through the
magnificent stone-carved city. After visiting Petra, transfer to Wadi
Rum where lunch will be served under Bedouin tents catered by a deluxe
hotel. Jeep tour of Wadi Rum. Depart to Aqaba. Overnight. Ladies: a set
of Arabic coffee cups with gourmet Arabic coffee. Gentlemen: a medium
sized hubbly bubbly (argileh). |

Day 6: |
DEPARTURE |
|
|
Morning: free for
swimming and water activities. Afternoon: transfer to the airport for
departure. Each member of the group will receive a sand bottle; their
names written with colored sands inside the bottles. |
