Meet at the gate by
our friendly Airport staff who shall provide full assistance through
immigration & customs. Transfer to hotel in Amman for dinner &
overnight. |

Day 2: |
CITY TOUR OF AMMAN /
BETHANY / DEAD SEA / AMMAN |

Breakfast, Sightseeing
tour through Amman, the ancient and modern capital of Jordan, originally
built on seven hills and from the top of the citadel, one of the highest
hills, you can have a splendid view of the old city. Visit the Citadel,
Roman Theater, Archeological, Folklore Museums, and King Abdullah
Mosque. Drive to the Jordan Valley to Bethany, beyond the Jordan, the
large loop in the Jordan River opposite Jericho which has long been
identified as the spot, where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the
Baptist. It is called Al-Maghtas in Arabic. Less than two kilometers
East of the river is another important place associated with the lives
of Jesus and John the Baptist -- the settlement of Bethany, where John
lived and baptized. The Baptism site at Bethany beyond the Jordan is one
of the most recent significant archeological and religious discoveries.
Proceed to the Dead Sea – the lowest spot on earth. Time for bathing and
relaxing. Back to Amman for dinner and overnight. |

Day 3: |
AMMAN / JERASH / UM
QEIS / AMMAN |

Breakfast. Drive north
of Amman to visit Jerash, the most beautiful and preserved Roman city in
existence. Continue to Um Qeis, the ancient Greco-Roman city of Gadara,
with its panoramic view overlooking the lake of Tiberias, the Jordan
Valley and Golan Heights. Dinner and overnight-Amman.

Day 4: |
AMMAN/MADABA/MOUNT
NEBO/KINGS’ HIGHWAY/KERAK/PETRA |

Breakfast, Drive
through King’s Highway, the ancient Silk Road; Visit Madaba, home of the
most famous Byzantine Mosaics and most of all the 6th century map of the
holy places in the biblical world. Continue to Mount Nebo, with its
spectacular view of the Holy Land. Then to Kerak to visit the Crusader
Castle from the 12th century. Proceed to Petra for dinner and overnight. |

Day 5: |
PETRA |
|
|
Breakfast.
Full day sightseeing of the unique “rose-red” city of Petra, half as old
as time, built by the Arab Nabateans who hewed their monumental tombs,
palaces, temples and treasury from the desert rock’s sandstone in its’
natural hues of rose and gold. Dinner and overnight in Petra. |

Day 6: |
PETRA / WADI
RUM / AQABA |
|
|
Breakfast. Drive to
Wadi Rum the valley of the moon, with a visit by Bedouin Jeeps for 2
hours. Continue to Aqaba, at the Red Sea. P.M. free in Aqaba. Dinner and
overnight in Aqaba.

Breakfast. Free day in
Aqaba. Dinner and overnight in Aqaba.

Day 8: |
TRANSFER TO AQABA AIRPORT FOR DEPARTURE |

Aqaba Airport including our assistance during departure formalities. |
