but nice summers with cool evenings. The Jordan Valley below sea
level is warm during winter and hot in summer. Rain falls
between November and March, while colder weather conditions occur in
December/January.
Required clothing
Lightweight cottons and linens are advised between May and
September. Warmer clothes are necessary for winter and cool summer
evenings. Rainwear is needed from November to April.
Jordan is a very sunny country with average daily sunshine hours
ranging from six to seven in winter and as much as twelve to
thirteen in summer. Although summer temperatures are high in the
desert, the heat is usually moderated by low humidity and a stiff
daytime breeze while the nights are cool and pleasant. |
